Need to declutter your overflowing crafting closet? You can clear out space and find your next fun hobby at our first ever craft supply swap on Saturday, February 7 from 10am-12pm!
From Monday, January 5 through Saturday, January 31, we will be collecting gently used or unwanted craft supplies (no donations for this event outside of these dates please). Donations can be dropped off at the library during all hours of operation.
All ages are welcome. Registration is not required for this program. You do not have to donate materials in order to come to the swap! Any leftover materials will be left for the library to distribute or use.
Some ideas of what to bring: Yarn (all types), fabric (scraps or whole pieces), sewing notions (thread, trim, buttons, etc.), beads (all types), paints (only water based paints please – bottles at least half full), paper (all types), crafting tools, and any odds and ends.
We will be limiting people to 1 bag of supplies that they can take home (we think – depends on how much is donated!). We ask that people do not take the complete stock of an entire category.
