Friends Of The Library

The Friends of the Bailey Library is a volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to championing the Bailey Library and its mission to serve as a lifelong learning center offering diverse resources for people of all ages. When you become a Friend, you join a diverse, dynamic group committed to supporting, advocating for, and sharing in the experiences that make our library unique. The Friends started in 1988 to help provide funding for library programs and materials not covered in the municipal operating budget. Shortly after forming, the Friends hosted their very first book sale, and over the last thirty years have donated thousands of volunteer hours and monetary gifts to support the Bailey Library. From funding special projects to hosting events and book sales, there are a variety of ways to get involved.
