ABSENTEE / VOTING BY MAIL

Any registered Winthrop voter may request a mail ballot using this online application. Once registration is verified and the application is processed, a paper ballot is mailed to the designated address beginning 30 days prior to Election Day.

WHERE TO VOTE ON ELECTION DAY

All Winthrop voters will vote at the Winthrop Town Office from 8am-8pm. (17 Highland Ave.) When you arrive, you’ll need to check in with the election officials to confirm that you are registered.

If you need help voting, you can bring along a relative or friend, or ask an election official.

Register to vote

Register to vote at the Winthrop Town Office:
Mon, Tue, Thu: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Wed: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Or you can download the registration form
and mail it to the Winthrop Town Office.

You can also register to vote at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles,
at a voter registration drive,
or online at the State of Maine’s website.
