Bestselling author Andrew Vietze will give a talk at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22nd in the King Event Room.

The talk will focus on Vietze’s new book “This Wild Land,” which records his adventures as a Park Ranger at Baxter State Park.

Vietze has written more than a dozen books, including “Boon Island,” the 2013 winner of the Independent Publisher Book Award. Vietze spent 18 years as a Park Ranger after a career as an editor and writer, including a term as managing editor of Down East magazine. ...
