We are excited to host a special evening with mural artists Chris Cart and Jen Greta Cart on Wednesday, April 22nd at 6:30pm. This presentation will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the development of our new large-scale children’s and adult murals, which reflect Winthrop’s history and community traditions. Through a slideshow, the artists will share their creative process, including preliminary panels, current progress, and the historical research and concepts informing the work ahead of the installation. Attendees will gain insight into how local landmarks, cultural traditions, and literary influences are incorporated into these community-centered pieces.
