We are seeking a full-time Adult Services Librarian to work in our busy lakeside library. In this position we will look to you to create a wonderful and transformative library experience for the Winthrop community. Your role is to encourage and foster lifelong library users and supporters by sharing your expertise and innovative ideas to shape library services and programs for the community. In support of these goals, you will also lead and develop the library's technology offerings, ensuring accessible, innovative, and meaningful experiences for all users. Your friendly, approachable style encourages customers to look to the library as a welcoming place for lifelong learning, engaging book discussions, and meaningful connections with others. Library experience is a plus, but we also encourage applicants from customer service, education, nonprofit, and other community-focused backgrounds who excel at serving people and building relationships.
