Living & Working in Space: No Shoes, No Shower… No Problem!

We are excited to host Brian Ewenson, Aerospace Educator! This event is sponsored by the Winthrop Parent Teacher Organization.
This event, from 4:30-5:30pm, is designed for ages 11 and younger. There is an event for 12 and older from 3:00 – 4:00pm on the same day.

Grab your space helmet, get strapped in, and go for a ride to space and back. In this hands-on/minds-on presentation, you will participate in a shuttle mission from crew selection through training, the launch to orbit, and a safe return to Earth. Learn what skills it takes to live and work in space. Real space artifacts will be displayed and there will be many hands-on demonstrations with audience participation.
